Bedrock

Crafted in clay to represent a boulder and glazed with a speckled finish, reminiscent of eroded stone found around Flatford MIll, this tiny delicate piece is bursting with growth. Responding to the brief of Carry on Constable, experiments with extrusion and waste glazes feature prominently. Within the fissure, beaded textiles sprout out, adding interest and contrasting textures.
