Accumulations II

Accumulations II takes a fresh look at resources typically viewed as waste, reframing them as objects of art and potential. It all starts with the materials and what they inspire - my great grandfather was a ‘rag-and-bone man’ and I similarly see value and beauty in stuff.

Accumulations II has given me an opportunity to reflect upon my part in creating waste and what I can do to make a difference. The resulting 10 playful sculptures invite us to look at waste anew and reflect upon our everyday actions and impacts.
